Women in Wheels Drive to Podium Place: A Journey of Empowerment and Adventure

In the world of motorsports, the roar of engines and the thrill of speed often overshadow the incredible stories of the women who fuel this passion. Recently, we embarked on a remarkable journey celebrating women in motorsport, with a drive that took us from the historic Goodwood to the charming Jane Austen's House, culminating in a delightful lunch at the iconic #PodiumPlace.

A Scenic Drive to Goodwood

Our adventure kicked off at #Goodwood, a venue renowned for its rich #motorsport heritage and breathtaking views of the English countryside. As we gathered, the excitement was palpable, with fellow female enthusiasts ready to celebrate our shared love for #cars and racing. Goodwood is not just a picturesque backdrop; it’s a testament to the legacy of motorsport in the UK and a perfect starting point for our day.

A Touch of Literary Charm at #JaneAusten's House

From Goodwood, we cruised to the quaint village of Chawton, where we visited Jane Austen's House. While the connection between Austen and motorsport may not be immediately apparent, the visit was a delightful reminder of the strong, independent women who have shaped history. Just as Austen broke societal norms with her writing, #womeninmotorsport are breaking barriers and driving change in a traditionally male-dominated field.

As we explored the charming cottage where Austen penned some of her most famous works, it was inspiring to reflect on the courage and creativity of women throughout history. Just like Austen’s heroines, we were forging our own paths, and the camaraderie among us was as invigorating as the open road ahead.

Lunch at Podium Place: A Simulated Adventure

After our literary excursion, we made our way to Podium Place for lunch. If you haven’t heard of Podium Place yet, let me tell you – it’s an absolute gem for motorsport enthusiasts! Over a delicious meal, we gathered to chat about our shared experiences and aspirations in the world of racing.

But the real excitement came when we got to try out their state-of-the-art simulators, racing around the iconic #Spa-Francorchamps circuit. Now, if you’ve ever driven a racing simulator, you know that it can be both exhilarating and humbling. As we raced against each other, laughter filled the room, especially when a few of us found ourselves spinning out more than actually racing! Let’s just say that while we may not be on the podium in real life, in the virtual world, we certainly gave it our all – and it made for some great stories!

A Tour of Podium’s Detailing Workshop

After our simulated racing escapades, we were treated to a tour of Podium’s impressive detailing workshop. The level of care and precision that goes into detailing high-performance vehicles is nothing short of art. From the gleaming exteriors to the meticulously maintained interiors, it was clear that every car is treated with the utmost respect and dedication.

The workshop showcased the passion that drives the team at Podium, and it was inspiring to see how they elevate vehicles to their highest potential. It’s a reminder that just like the cars they care for, women in motorsports are constantly refining their skills, pushing boundaries, and striving for excellence.

A Venue Like No Other

Finally, we concluded our day by exploring Podium Place’s incredible #venue space. Designed for both motorsport enthusiasts and corporate events, the ambiance is perfect for anyone who appreciates the thrill of speed. The combination of elegance and adrenaline makes it a unique destination for gatherings of all kinds.

As we reminisced about our day, it was evident that our journey was more than just about driving; it was about empowerment, sisterhood, and shared passion. The road to the podium may be challenging, but with determination and support, women in motorsport are making strides and claiming their place in the spotlight.
